Following an intense exam period, It was wonderful to see our Year 11 students relaxed and dressed to the nines for their prom. The venue was Constance Green Hall which looked resplendent thanks to the hard work and talent of Mrs Rosser. This was to be her last prom as she stepped down after 13 years of creating an event which has become the highlight of Year 11’s academic year – we are very grateful for all she has done and will miss her very much.
The Year 11s arrived in style in various forms of transport including a couple of tractors, campervan and a golf buggy! They quickly made their way to Constance Green Hall to be greeted by Mr Thornton (setting the tone in a tuxedo!) and dancing, Dominos pizza, a photo booth and an amazing sweet stall were among the highlights that followed.
Still to come for Year 11 is the much anticipated Ardeche trip which has returned for the first time since the pandemic. It’s going to be a summer to remember and we wish them all the very best!
