The Spring Concert was held in Constance Green Hall on Wednesday evening and the audience enjoyed music to suit all tastes. The Symphony Orchestra led by Mrs Leonard opened the evening with a rendition of the theme from Pirates of the Carribean and many more ensembles followed including the first ever performance from the Bassoon Quartet! Mrs Elliott who was part of this ensemble made a plea for anyone who might like to learn the Bassoon to come forward and let it be known to the music department.
Special mentions were given to a handful of students on the evening and we gave our Year 13s a big cheer for all they have contributed musically during their time at St Aidan’s.
We are proud of all the talented students who took part in the concert and thank the staff that work with them. Thanks to Mr Balme and Year 11 student Euan Buchan for your technical work on the evening and to St. Aidan’s Music Association for the refreshments. We hope everyone had a fabulous evening.
