St. Aidan’s Eco Club have been spreading the word this week about their fantastic new initiative to conserve energy in school. Shut Down Friday encourages all students at St Aidan’s to switch off lights, turn off electrical equipment and turn off radiators at the end of the school day. This will help the environment and also save money.
The students did a fantastic job presenting their idea to Year group assemblies this week. Today was Year 8’s turn and we hope they will follow Eco Club’s advice. Well done to Year 7 students Bethany, Adeline, Florence, Sophia and Mohammed who form Eco Club.
