On Thursday 5 May, Mr Elliott and our talented musicians from Junior Band enjoyed a short walk with their instruments to play for the staff and pupils of Oatlands Infant School. The younger children enjoyed learning about the instruments that our students were playing and enthusiastically asked questions when given the opportunity. The audience participation was equally enthusiastic as Mr Elliott had everyone in the room doing actions to Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off!
We hope we left our fellow Yorkshire Causeway School’s students inspired to take up an instrument so that perhaps they can come back to visit the Infant School to play one day.
