Year 7 were treated to a talk from author Tom Palmer on Wednesday 14 March. He inspired our Year 7s to read by talking about his writing process discussing how he researched his characters using photos and settings using maps and photos. He explained how this helped him with his latest book Resist which tells the story of Audrey Hepburn’s experiences in the World War 2 Resistance. Our Year 7s had some fantastic questions for Tom and afterwards students were delighted to have their Tom Palmer books signed!
